City of Los Angeles EV Rebates & Incentives

There are many Los Angeles EV rebates available, all designed to significantly reduce the cost of owning an electric vehicle:

• Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) EV Rebate: The LADWP provides customers with rebates of up to $1,500 for qualifying used EVs and an extra $2,500 for low-income applicants. More rebates are available, including $1,000 toward purchasing and installing a home charging station.
• Clean Cars 4 All (CC4A): While this program is administered at the state level, it provides additional rebates to Los Angeles residents. The CC4A offers between $1,500 and $4,000 for eligible electric, plug-in hybrid, and fuel cell vehicles, depending on the vehicle type and applicant’s income level.
• Clean Air Vehicle (CAV) Decal Program: The CAV Decal Program in California allows qualifying EVs, plug-in hybrids, and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles to use high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes. The program provides these vehicles with special decals, which enable single-occupancy drivers to access carpool lanes and reduce their commute times.
